Welcome to the Randeivu app! We respect data privacy and want you to be informed of our practices. This Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into our Terms of Service, outlines the privacy practices of Randeivu LLC, which owns and operates the Randeivu app (“Randeivu,” “Company,” “we,” or “us”), in connection with your (“you(r)”) use of our services, including our websites, mobile applications, services, software, and technology (collectively, the “Service(s)”). By using our Services, you agree to be bound by our terms and policies, including this Privacy Policy. 

What does this Privacy Policy cover? 

This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, and disclose information, both online and offline. Please also see our separate Terms of Service, which incorporate by reference this Privacy Policy and includes applicable definitions. Unless otherwise expressly stated, this Privacy Policy does not apply to any third-party practices, websites, or services (collectively, “Third-Party Platforms”), whether or not referenced in or linked from our Services. Each Third-Party Platform will have its own privacy practices and policies, which you should review before using. 

This Privacy Policy incorporates by reference our Biometrics Notice to the extent applicable. 

By accessing the Service, you acknowledge this Privacy Policy and agree to be bound by its terms, our Terms of Service, and any other terms or policies we post on the Service. If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, please do not use the Service, or provide us with any personal information. Terms not defined in this Privacy Policy will have same meaning as in Terms of Service

Information We Collect

Information,” as used in this Privacy Policy, means personal information that identifies, relates to, describes, is capable of being associated with, or could reasonably be linked, directly or indirectly, with a particular user or household. 

Generally, we collect information about you, such as your name, email address, and your use of our Service such as access logs. Like many companies, we also collect internet and device information, such as from cookies and other automated technologies. We also collect information from third parties, like when you access our Service through your social media account or when you upload information from your social media account to complete your profile. 

More specifically, we collect and/or have collected the following categories of information about you and other users of the Service:

  • Information You Give to Us. In order to provide the Service and to help you develop connections with other users, we need to collect some information about you including basic profile details and the types of people you are interested in connecting with. Some of this information is provided by you when you use the Service, for example:
    • When you create an account you provide us with an email address, phone number, username, and password. 
    • When you fill out our user profile, you can share information like your gender, date of birth, race, sexual orientation, religious beliefs, what city/state you are located, your hobbies and interests, details about your job/career path, and who you would like to connect with. By choosing to provide this information, you consent to our processing of that information.  
    • You can also share with us additional information, such as details on your personality, lifestyle, interests and other details about you, as well as content such as photos and videos. To add certain content, like pictures or videos, you may allow us to access your camera or photo album.
  • Verification Information.In order to use the Service and begin engaging with other users, we will ask you to verify your identity. This may include the collection of personal information like a copy of your government issued identification card (e.g., driver’s license or passport), audio and visual data, such as a photo of yourself, and biometric data, such as a facial scan.
  • Content You Make Public. We may collect information from you that you voluntarily upload when using the Service or otherwise for post public display (“Public Information”), such as your Content, which may include photos, videos, or comments. Once you submit Public Information, neither you nor we can control how it may be copied, shared, or used by third parties, even if you or we later delete such Public Information. Accordingly, you should carefully consider what personal information you choose to include within your Public Information.
  • Transaction and Payment Information.We collect information from you as needed to process payments. This information may include your bank account number, payment card number, expiration date, card verification number, and billing address. 
  • Internet, Device, and Network Activity Information.When you use the Service, we automatically gather information made available by your web browser (such as Microsoft Edge or Google Chrome), internet service provider (such as Comcast or Cox), and device (such as your computer, phone, tablet, or smart watch), depending on your settings for each. For example, we may collect your IP address, information about the operating system or type of device you use, the device ID associated with your device, the date and time you access the Service, and your log in attempts. We may also collect information about your browsing history, search history, and information regarding your interaction with a particular website, application, or advertisement, including the Service. We may also collect information regarding the websites, applications, or advertisements you visited immediately before and after your use of the Service.
  • Geolocation Information. We may collect your approximate location from your IP address. Additionally, we may collect your location when you provide it while creating a user profile or when you provide asked to provide your zip code and/or billing address to complete a purchase. 
  • Protected Class Information. As mentioned above, due to the specific nature of the Service, you will be asked to provide information about your gender, age, race/ethnicity, religious beliefs, and sexual orientation when filling out your user profile.  
  • Other Information. From time to time, we may collect other information from you, such as when you make a claim for a promotion, contest, or event, when you request assistance through the Service, or when you voluntarily subscribe to promotions, reminders, or newsletters. 

How and when do we collect information about you?

We gather the information referenced above through the following sources and means:

  • When you provide information through the Service. Randeivu collects information when users voluntarily enter or upload it while using the Service, including when you fill out your user profile, make a purchase, create an account, sign up for emails, or save account or payment preferences. 
  • When you communicate with us.We collect information from your communications, such as when you email us, contact our customer support, and when you communicate with others through the Service.
  • When you use the Service. We may use various technologies to collect and store information when you use, access, or interact with the Service. This may include using cookies or similar technologies to identify your browser or device. In addition, we may collect information from or about your computer(s), phone(s), or other devices when you access the Service including the operating system, hardware version, device settings, device identifiers, language and time zone, mobile phone number, IP address, and server logs.
  • From Third Parties.We may collect information from third parties including your device/internet connection information, internet activity information, and geolocation information. Also, third parties may place cookies and pixels on the Service, and these companies may use that data to show you more relevant advertisements and promotions.   • Through Cookies, tracking tools, and other automated technologies. When you use any website, certain information can be automatically collected through technological means. We use the information we collect from you for certain “business purposes” that are necessary to provide the Service and for “commercial purposes,” meaning a use that advances our business interests, such as marketing the Service.

  • To provide the features of the Service, including allowing you to create your account/user profile, provide you with customer support, and communicate with you about the Service.

How do we share your information?

We may disclose your information with the following third parties for the business and commercial purposes discussed above:

  • Service Providers and Contractors. We engage certain trusted third parties to perform functions and provides services to us, for example, our ID verification service provider. We may share information with these third parties, but only for the purposes of performing these functions and providing such services. We may likewise share information with “contractors” that are not service providers but to whom we disclose information for a business purpose. Such disclosure is for business purposes of providing you with products and services that you have requested or considered.
  • With Other Users. Your information will be shared with other users when you voluntarily disclose it through your use of the Service. Please be careful with your information and make sure that the content you share is something you would be comfortable being publicly viewable. Remember, neither you nor we can have total control over what others do with your information once you share it. We may also share your public content, such as reviews and comments about the Service, including by reposting your reviews in our advertising and through our social media accounts.
  • Disclosure in Connection with the Service. Randeivu may disclose information when necessary to provide the Service, including without limitation, with those who perform technical, administrative, and data processing tasks such as hosting, billing, customer support, marketing, data storage, and Third-Party Platforms. 
  • Affiliated Entities. Should we be subject to an acquisition, merger, sale or other change of control or business entity status, or a bankruptcy, we reserve the right to transfer or assign your information as part of that acquisition, merger, sale, or bankruptcy. We may also share your information with any affiliated entities, which are businesses that are directly related to us and have common ownership, where your information is still treated in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
  • Government Officials and Other Parties. To comply with any legal obligations, we may disclose your information in response to subpoenas, court orders, and other valid legal processes. We may also disclose personal information when we believe it is necessary to prevent illegal, fraudulent, or injurious actions that may cause harm to individuals.
  • Advertising Partners. We may disclose information as needed to advertising partners.  For example, we may share information gathered through cookies and tracking tools to allow a third party to advertise our products to you after you leave the Service.  
  • Consent. We may disclose information as requested or consented to by you. Such disclosure may be for any business or commercial purpose as described to you. 

Do we sell or share your information to others?

No, Randeivu does not sell, rent, or otherwise disclose information that reasonably identifies you. We have not sold consumers’ personal information during the past twelve (12) months.

How do we protect your information?

We have implemented appropriate security measures designed to protect the security of any personal information we process. However, it is impossible to guarantee the safety of data. We will do our best to protect your information, but the safety and security of your information also depends on you. Never share your password with anyone else and notify us as soon as possible if you believe your account security has been breached.

We use the following criteria to determine how long we retain personal information: (a) our relationship with you, such as if there is an open contract or account or a pending transaction or request, (b) legal obligations to retain personal information for certain purposes, such as to maintain transaction records, and (c) other obligations or considerations relating to the retention of data, such as contract requirements, litigation holds, investigations, or statutes of limitation.

How long do we keep your information?

Randeivu retains your information for the length of time necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law or valid court order. When we have no ongoing legitimate business need to process your information, we will delete it, or, if this is not possible (for example because your personal information has been stored in backup archives), then we will securely store your information until deletion is possible. If you would like to remove your profile or delete your account, click on your profile. Next, click on Edit Profile and scroll down to the bottom of the page and then tap Delete Account.

Do we transfer your information to a different country?

If you are using the Service from a location outside of the United States, your connection will be through and to servers located in the United States, and all information you provide will be processed and securely maintained in our web servers and internal systems located within the United States. By using the Service, you authorize and specifically consent to the transfer of personal data to the United States and its storage and use as specified above when you provide such information to us.

What are your rights when it comes to accessing, correcting, or deleting your information, and how can you exercise them?

Certain consumers have the right to request access to the personal information we collect from you, request changes to your personal information, or in some circumstances request deletion. To request to review, update, or delete your personal information, please contact us. We will consider and act upon any request in accordance with applicable data protection laws. 

Process for Making a Request 

To make a privacy request regarding your personal information, please contact us at privacy@randeivu.io with your name and either your email address or physical address associated with your use of the Service. If you are making a privacy request through an authorized agent, please also provide the agent’s name and email address and statement of authorization. If we need additional information to verify your identity or process your request, we will promptly respond to you. Under certain privacy laws, consumers have specific privacy rights, as outlined below.  

California Residents 

California residents have the following rights under California privacy laws: 

  • Right to access and correct your personal information; 
  • Right to request disclosure of the categories of information collected about you, the categories of sources from which the information is collected, the business or commercial purpose for collecting or selling information, the categories of third parties with whom we share your information, and specific pieces of information we have collected about you. 
  • Right to opt out of certain privacy practices, including any sale of information;  
  • Right to request deletion of personal information collected about you; and 
  • Right to no discriminatory treatment (and Randeivu will not discriminate against you, for example by charging you a different price, for exercising your rights). 
  • Right to make complaints, including for privacy concerns. We value your feedback and seek the opportunity to work with you on any issues.  

In addition, under California’s “Shine the Light” law, California residents who provide information to the Website may request certain information regarding our disclosure of your information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes.  

European Economic Area Residents 

The Service is designed for consumers in North America. However, residents of the European Economic Area have the right to access information we hold about you and to ask that your information be corrected, updated, or erased, and the right to object to, or request that we restrict, certain processing of your information, and to lodge a complaint with the data privacy authority where you live. Our legal bases for processing information are as follows: consent for processing operations of information by the data subject; where processing of information is necessary for the performance of a contract to which the data subject is a party; where processing operations that are necessary for carrying out pre-contractual measures; where processing of information is required to comply with a legal obligation to which our Company is subject; where processing of information may be necessary to protect the vital interests of the data subject or of another natural person; and/or where processing is necessary for the purposes of the legitimate interests pursued by our Company or by a third party, except where such interests are overridden by the interests or fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject.

Privacy Practices of Third Parties 

The Service may include content or links to content, products or services provided by third parties. This Privacy Policy only addresses the use and disclosure of information by Randeivu through your interaction with the Service. Third Party services that may be accessible through links from the Service have their own privacy policies and information collection, use, and disclosure practices. Third-party sellers, advertisers, and partners also have their own privacy practices. We encourage you to familiarize yourself with the privacy statements provided by these third parties prior to providing them with information or taking advantage of a third-party offer or promotion.

How do we protect the privacy of children?

Our Service is restricted to users who are 18 years of age or older. As such, Randeivu does not knowingly collect any personal information about children under the age of 13. If we obtain actual knowledge that we have collected such information, that information will be immediately deleted from our database. Because we do not collect such information, we have no such information to use or to disclose to third parties. 

How can you receive and opt-out from marketing communications?

By providing your contact information through the Service or an email initiated by you, you consent to receive emails and push notifications from us, including information concerning your account and advertising messages. Depending upon your location, we may obtain additional consent from you via a checkbox disclosure or an email requesting confirmation before you can receive such information.

Providing consent to promotional emails is not a condition of using the Service. You can unsubscribe to advertising emails at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link within the email, or by contacting us at unsubscribe@randeivu.io. Please note that, even if you unsubscribe from advertising emails, we will still send you any necessary, non-promotional emails about your purchase, account, or updates to our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

Consent to receive electronic communications from other users. 

Without limitation, by registering for the Service and/or creating a user profile through the Service, you consent to receive electronic communications, including email, video messages, in-app messages, instant messages, push notifications, and other personal messages from other users of the Service.

Do we offer financial incentives for your data? 

No, we do not currently offer any financial incentives for your data. 

Do we respond to Do Not Track (DNT) Signals?

DNT is a feature offered by some browsers which, when enabled, sends a signal to websites to request that your browsing is not tracked. We do not respond to DNT requests.

How will you know when we change the Privacy Policy?

Each time you use the Service, the then-current version of this Privacy Policy will apply.  Although most changes are likely to be minor, we reserve the right to modify this Privacy Policy by posting such modification on this page; however, if changes are significant, we may provide a more prominent notice or email you. Depending upon your location, we may obtain additional consent from you via a checkbox disclosure or an email requesting consent before you can continue to use the Service.
